Shifting World works by letting you switch between "black" and "white" mode at will, flipping gravity and altering which parts of the level are the floor, and which are the background. This can be used to an advantage to overcome the game’s obstacles and find your way out of the room. There are over 60 levels total in the game's Adventure Mode, Bonus Mode and Time Attack Mode.
