RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D is an upcoming game for the Nintendo 3DS and an installment in the Rollercoaster Tycoon series. Developed by n-Space and published by Atari, it is the first handheld title in the series. Originally set to be launched in March 2012, the game had been put on hold for reasons unknown, and was eventually given the release date of May 22, 2012. [1] [2] [3]; however, It wasn't out by then either.
Gameplay[]
Similar to other titles in the series, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3D allows the player to become the manager of the theme park in order to construct and manage new rides and attractions. [4] In the process, players create and design roller coasters, construct bathrooms and restaurants, and even decorate their park with scenery such as flowers and park benches.
The player is also able to hire mechanics to fix attractions, and learn more about the people who enter the park. [5] The game is expected to remain very similar to its predecessors despite being developed by a different company. No new additions to the formula have been announced as of yet, but the game is expected to be playable in 3D as with all other Nintendo 3DS titles.
