Play Coins are an in-game currency for the Nintendo 3DS which one can use to buy items, game modes, or characters in certain games. They are earned by taking 100 steps when a 3DS system is closed but still on in Sleep Mode. A maximum of 10 a day can earned, and only 300 can be had at one time.


Certain games can use Play Coins. The following are:

Bottle Barrier costs 2 coins

AR Games Buying extra games or tools

Archery 2 costs 3 coins

AR Shot 2 costs 3 coins

Clock costs costs 1 coin

Globe costs 1 coin

Fish Gallery costs 1 coin

Free Fishing costs 3 coins

Camera costs 1 coin

3D Tools costs 1 coin

Adding photos from another person costs 10 coins

Adding sound from another person costs 10 coins

Adding new stationary costs 5 coins each

Pokémon Rumble Blast Inviting customers to shop 10 per each new skill
