
Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development, or EAD for short, is Nintendo's main first-party development team. It is the largest division inside the company. The team is best known for its work on the Mario, Legend of Zelda, F-Zero, Star Fox, Donkey Kong, and Pikmin franchises. Nintendo EAD is split into five separate teams in Kyoto, Japan who work concurrently on different projects in addition to a sister group in Tokyo. [1]
