Notes: Three different Mario-themed 3DSes were produced as part of Club Nintendo's "Chotto Mario na 3DS Present Campaign." One is based on the look of Mario's clothing, mainly his overalls, the second one is based on Peach's, sporting a pink color, and the third having white spots with a red background, resembling Toad. They were given away as part of a contest in Japan. Nintendo of Europe also announced that they would be having the same contest per their Club Nintendo which customers will be able to enter by registering two 3DS games. Nintendo of Australia also announced they were doing this same thing. Weirdly, they only made 50 of each model unlike other regions which had 1,000 made each model. [28]
Notes: A special system with a snake theme, officially called "Snake Camouflage", was announced for Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, which and is sold exclusively through Konami Style and through raffle. [29][30]
Notes: Square Enix announced a bundle, featuring the Kingdom Hearts 3D game, and and a specially design 3DS, which featured the symbols of the Dream Eaters, the game's main enemies, Mickey Mouse's heads, crowns, and hearts, which was released on March 29, 2012.
Notes: To coincide with the release of the game on April 19 (in Japan), a version of the Cobalt Blue 3DS with a design of two dragons and a sword on the front of the system was released in a bundle with the game itself and a Nintendo eShop card as a free bonus. It was released exclusively through Nintendo's online sales service. This bundle will be release in North America on 2/4/2013[31]
