The game follows a quest-driven structure similar to Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Capcom's Monster Hunter series. Players engage in fights with classic Final Fantasy enemies and summons. Characters can be assigned jobs such as Knight, White, Black, Red, and Time Mage, Thief, Ninja, etc. as well as up to eight abilities to use in battle. It also supports local and online multiplayer.
