Crashmo (known as Hiku Otsu in Japan and Fallblox in Europe) is a puzzle game for the Nintendo eShop. Announced in an October 2012 European Nintendo Direct, it is the sequel to Pushmo. [1] The game was released October 31, 2012 in Japan, November 15 in Europe, and November 22, 2012 in North America. [2] [3] [4]

Gameplay[]

The game plays much like its predecessor -- the player controls Mallo, a creature who pushes and pulls blocks to get to the top of a structure to rescue a bird (as opposed to Pushmo's children). The title introduces a new falling mechanic, in which blocks will fall to the ground if there is nothing underneath them. Special floating blocks, however, have the ability to stay in the air. Puzzles can also be viewed in a 3D perspective as opposed to being restricted to a 2D plane only like in Pushmo. It will feature 140 new levels.
